City council approves dedicated bus lanes on three main roads
The pilot starts next month and will run for six months before a review.

The council voted on Thursday to set aside one lane on each of three main roads for buses during peak hours.
What changes
Buses will get a lane of their own from 7 to 11 a.m. and 5 to 9 p.m. Cars may use the lane outside those hours.
What happens next
Officials said they will publish ridership and travel-time data every month during the pilot.
